Regional Account Manager
Bill Elam is a Regional Account Manager at Valued Merchant Services. He has over 27 years of management experience. Notable was the time he spent as the Birmingham Branch Manager of HomeStar Financial Corporation. In his current role, Bill helps business owners build momentum in operating their business by lower the costs of credit card processing and updating that equipment, improve branding and market share through web sites and social media, as well as increase their working capital through business loans.
Bill’s education and training exceed that of a BS in Business Administration from Edison State University. He has volunteered his services as a Treasurer and/or Secretary to aid local nonprofit organizations such as: Women’s Counsel of Realtors- Birmingham Chapter, Birmingham Tres Dias, and Agape Baptist Church. Bill has trained over 30 direct reports to achieve record quality and sales volume.
Bill has lived in the Birmingham, Alabama area for the last 25 years. He is married and has 4 grown children and 14 Grandchildren. Most of them still reside in the Birmingham area. When not working, Bill enjoys cook-outs and freshwater fishing.
